Rose

Kenneth Rose is the France-Merrick Professor in Sustainable Ecosystem Restoration at the Horn Point Laboratory, part of UMCES. He previously was a Professor and Associate Dean at Louisiana State University, and a research scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He received a BS in Biology and Mathematics from University of Albany and MS and PhD in Fisheries from the University of Washington. Dr. Rose has served on many advisory and review committees, including multiple National Academies of Sciences’ committees, the Independent Science Board for the California Delta, and the Independent Science Advisory Board for the Columbia River. He has published over 200 papers, mostly on ecological, population, food web, and fisheries modeling.
