Chesapeake Bay Program Information

On December 2, 2025, leaders from the six Chesapeake Bay watershed states, the U.S. EPA, Washington, D.C., and the Chesapeake Bay Commission approved the revised 2025 Chesapeake Bay Watershed Agreement, setting shared restoration goals through 2040.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will release a final TMDL on December 31, 2010. The TMDL is a “pollution diet” for the entire watershed. Click here to learn more about the document and how the CBP is working to reduce pollution throughout the watershed.
