Brosch

Chris Brosch is Deputy Secretary of the Delaware Department of Agriculture and Co-director of LEADelaware. With over 15 years of experience in agricultural policy and programs across the Mid-Atlantic, he has worked with University Extension, federal, and state agencies. Chris earned a master’s in agriculture from Virginia Tech and a BS in Natural Resource Sciences from the University of Maryland. An expert in agronomic nutrient and carbon balances, soil health, sustainability, and composting, Chris is passionate about lifelong learning. Starting in high school, he was involved in horticulture and fruit agriculture thanks in large part to his participation in FFA. Outside of work, he continues to volunteer in student leadership development, enjoys hiking with his family and cycling to work daily.
