Efeturi Oghenekaro (PhD) is an Environmental Protection Specialist with the District of Columbia Department of Energy and Environment. Dr. Oghenekaro’s decade-long experience includes aquatic science research, policy, grant management, education, and outreach. She served as a Program Specialist at the National Science Foundation and Program Analyst with NOAA Research. She made significant contributions to support NOAA’s efforts with the Transatlantic Ocean Research Alliance, a cooperative effort between the United States, Canada, and the European Union.
