In May, 2009, President Barack Obama signed the Chesapeake Bay Executive Order, declaring the Chesapeake Bay a national treasure. Follow the link to learn more about the Executive Order and federal agency plans to restore the Chesapeake Bay Watershed.

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) will release a final TMDL on December 31, 2010. The TMDL is a “pollution diet” for the entire watershed. Click here to learn more about the document and how the CBP is working to reduce pollution throughout the watershed.
