Meetings

STAC hosts meetings each quarter to discuss a variety of topics pertinent to Chesapeake Bay Program activities. As an advisory committee for the Bay Program, STAC’s objective is to provide scientific and technical guidance to effectively direct research, management actions, and communication between regional stakeholders and management communities. Recent topics include, but are not limited to, climate change issues, effective implementation of adaptive management, guidance on regional nutrient trading programs, and environmental indicator development. Summaries and action items from past meetings can be found below. Webpages of the most recent meetings are also available from which you may download the meetings’ presentations and briefing materials.

STAC’s quarterly meetings also provide a forum for members of the Chesapeake Bay Program partnership to present requests for STAC organized reviews and workshops. Information on the workshop and review protocols can be found on the workshop webpage or by contacting STAC Staff. All of STAC's quarterly meetings are open to members of the general public. Please let us know if you are interested in attending any of upcoming meetings.
