Workshop Proposals: STAC reserves up to $40,000 for funding responsive and proactive workshops each year. Proposals are submitted by STAC members and CBP subcommittees and are evaluated on their individual merit by the STAC membership. Each approved workshop must use their allocated money with their funded fiscal year (June 1 – May 31).

Climate Change and the Chesapeake Bay: The final draft of the STAC climate change white paper is available for download. Please note that the draft will undergo full-reformating before hardcopies become available. Ray Najjar, PSU and co-editor of the STAC climate change white paper, will present the subsequent climate change presentation at the meeting. The presentation, developed by Nina Fisher, an independent technical writer, will be used to visually summarize the paper’s findings and recommendations for a broader, lay-oriented audience. Members will be encouraged to use the presentation to disseminate STAC’s climate change recommendations within and outside the Chesapeake Bay community.
