JHU's Vice Provost for Research
Dr. Ted Poehler, Vice Provost for Research at The Johns Hopkins University, is down-scaling his long-term administrative responsibilities for the University. As a long-term member of the CRC Board, including past chair and Executive Board member, Ted has passed his major university responsibilities on to Dr. Scott Zeger, a renowned biostatistician who in his early career, analyzed environmental impacts of power plant operations in Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries. Ted has been instrumental in CRC's growth and expanded programs, most notably the current strong commitment to community modeling as complementary modeling options to the Chesapeake Bay Program's watershed and estuarine biophysical model suite. Ted will remain active in several JHU programs, including continued representation of the University on the CRC Board.
